- Attendees must obey all State of California fishing regulations of (DCFW).
- Participants must obtain valid 2022 California fishing license, (15yrs old below not required).
- Participants must bring present their valid ID and valid fishing license at the time of check in / credential pick up.
- Participants under 17 years of age must be accompanied by a parent / guardian.
Waiver forms and or parental consent must be signed and submitted before the tournament. - All participants must obey all state fishing regulations
- Participants may fish wherever they want as long as it is within under the current DFG regulations.
- All fish must be line-caught with the designated one (1) fishing rod and reel on a BAIT OR LURE
- Fish should be measured from tip of mouth to farthest tip of fin with its mouth closed

All fish must be line-caught with the designated one (1) fishing rod and reel using Bait or Lure.
Only one (1) fishing rod is allowed per person for the duration of the event. However participants are allowed to use two (2) rod if they signed up for Striped bass and Surf Perch event.
All fish must be caught from shore. Fish taken from boats, personal watercraft, trolling methods, gill-netting methods, etc are not permitted.

Participants may fish ANY beach outside of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Fish may not be taken from the San Francisco Bay and San Pablo Bay shores or other inland waterways. Fish may not be taken from Jetties, Piers or other structures where a CA fishing license is not required.
- A special link will be provided to upload your video catch and release.
- All fish MUST be filmed/video ALIVE during the catch and release.
- Fish should be measured from tip of mouth to farthest tip of fin with its mouth closed
MTF OFFICIAL requirements must be VISIBLE in the video clip(s), to be counted as an entry. (*Dead fish are not qualified entry)

- All qualifying video clip(s) must be UPLOADED and submitted using the special upload link ON THE DAY the fish were caught and released. Any videos of fish caught the day before will be automatically disqualified.
Video uploading opens from 6:00 am and closes at 3:00 pm on the day of the tournament
Winners to be determined by longest fish caught, as measured from tip of mouth to farthest tip of fin. The longest fish caught will be declared the winning entries of the 2022 MORE THAN FISHING® Surf Fishing Tournament. - In case of a TIE in length, the winner will be determined by whoever SUBMITTED FIRST.

RAFFLE/ GIVEAWAY
Winner(s) must be present to claim the prize. If winner(s) is not present, prize will be forfeited and a new alternate winner(s) will be selected.
All registrants are automatically included in the raffle draws.

Competitor will use rod to drag a heavy object towards them.

- All decisions by the judges are final.
- All competitors are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner. Anyone who violates the tournament rules will be automatically disqualified from this event and may be barred from participating in future More Than Fishing® events
